A collage of three parts. One appreciates Lowell's poems so much, even before reading Faderman's essay on the poetry and love life of Amy and Ada. Although Meriam's poetry is very uneven, it is fun and interesting, especially after the essay. Meriam's poetry is so surface--Lowell's so hidden as the times warranted. Maybe we haven't come close to that beauty of poetry by being so upfront.Wanted the beauty of nature with the upfront.
